Art Foundation Curaçao is a non-profit organization founded in 2014, among other things, to raise awareness of the creativity and talent present in Curaçao. They organize exhibitions, tours in Punda, workshops, bus tours to museums and art studios, lectures, and free art classes for kids in their neighborhoods, at schools, and at alternative homes (internaten). Plein Air Curaçao is an international art festival that takes place every other year, during which over 40 local and international artists paint outdoors on location. The first prize-winning paintings and other special images of Curaçao are displayed in the Plein Air Curaçao Art Museum.
