The Association of Museums and Heritage of Curaçao is proud to present ‘Tene Pia Seku’. An exhibition inspired by ‘Rising Tide’ by photographer Kadir van Lohuizen | Het Scheepvaartmuseum in Amsterdam.

‘Tene Pia Seku’ brings together international documentary photography with inspiring works by local artists, heritage organizations, and researchers.

The Curaçao Museum, NAAM, Sea Turtle Conservation Curaçao, Children’s Museum Curaçao, O’Blue, Aline Abdul, and local residents who share personal stories and lived experiences are some of the names that will be featured.

From coastal life and the perspective of our youth to deep cultural reflection, this exhibition focuses on environmental change through community resilience and care.

SAVE THE DATE for the opening night:
August 27, 2026, at 19:00 at Habaai Art Gallery, Landhuis Habaai.
The exhibition will be available until Saturday, October 31, 2026.

Bonaire
We are excited to announce that ‘Tene Pia Seku’ will begin its tour at Terramar Museum | Bonaire (August 8 – December 1, 2026); where they will present their own island edition with its unique interpretation of our shared Caribbean dialogue.
