Our Story
About the Museum
Landhuis Bloemhof has ongoing and changing art exhibitions by local and international artists. Visit the sculpture studio of May Henriquez, who was a pioneer in the local art world and helped establish many local artists. The country house, Landhuis Bloemhof (1735), is almost three centuries old. A walking tour around the premises literally takes you back in time.
Enjoy a walk through 18 acres of ‘Mondi’, in our natural park, where you will find several artists working. ‘The Cathedral of Thorns’ by Herman van Bergen is a monumental artwork recommended by National Geographic’s Intelligent Traveler. Watch Hortence Brouwn create her stone sculptues in her open-air studio.
