Our Story

About the Museum

Hidden in a maze of streets, in the middle of Punda, lies a historic piece of Curaçao. The Postmuseum is located in the oldest building in town, a restored wooden and stone building that dates back to 1693. The permanent collection consists of stamps and related objects from the Netherlands Antilles. Special exhibitions of theme stamps from all over the world are held twice a year. Over the years, the Postal Museum has let thousands of students and interested people take a look at the world of mail and stamps. A world that is so self-evident in our time, but whose importance is not always realized.
